Pella Window and Patio Door Screens
The right screen lets you enjoy fresh air while maintaining as much natural light and outdoor visibility as possible. Pella offers screen options for select wood, fiberglass, and vinyl windows and patio doors, with availability depending on the product series and operating style.
Valdicass helps homeowners throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs choose the right screen configuration for their Pella window or patio door replacement project.
Pella Window Screen Options
Window screens aren’t all the same. The appropriate screen depends on the window material, operating style, and Pella product series you select.
Depending on the product, options may include traditional removable screens, high-transparency screens, and retractable screen systems.
InView™ Screens
Pella InView screens provide ventilation while maintaining a clearer view through the window than a conventional screen.
Their high-transparency screen material makes them an attractive option for homeowners who want fresh air without unnecessarily obstructing the view through their new windows.
Availability varies by Pella product and window style.
Pella Rolscreen® Retractable Screens
For homeowners who prioritize an unobstructed view, Pella’s Rolscreen® retractable screen is one of the most distinctive screen options available on select products.
Instead of remaining permanently visible in front of the glass, the screen retracts when it isn’t being used.
Depending on the window or patio door configuration, the screen can retract into the product when closed, helping maximize visible glass.
Benefits can include:
- A cleaner view when the screen isn’t needed
- More natural light
- Convenient self-storage
- No seasonal screen removal and storage
- Ventilation when you want it without permanently covering the glass with a screen
Rolscreen availability depends on the Pella product series and operating style.
Screens for Pella Wood Windows
Pella wood windows combine traditional architectural character with modern performance and design options.
Depending on the series and window style selected, you may have different screen configurations available, including high-transparency and retractable options.
For homeowners replacing windows in traditional or architecturally detailed homes, screen selection matters because it affects how clearly exterior grille patterns and other window details show.
Screens for Pella Fiberglass Windows
Pella fiberglass windows, including select Pella Impervia® products, are available with screen configurations designed to provide ventilation while complementing the durability and narrow sightlines of fiberglass window frames.
Available screen options depend on the specific window style and configuration.
Screens for Pella Vinyl Windows
Pella vinyl windows are also available with screens for compatible operating styles.
The exact screen type depends on the Pella series and the window you select. Valdicass can confirm the available options when preparing your window proposal.
Pella Patio Door Screens
Screens are especially important for patio doors because homeowners frequently use these openings for ventilation and access to outdoor living spaces.
Depending on the Pella patio door selected, screen options may include traditional sliding screens and retractable screen configurations.
A properly selected and installed patio door screen should operate smoothly and complement the door’s appearance and function.
Choosing the Right Screen for Your Windows
Screen selection may seem like a small part of a window replacement project, but it can noticeably affect everyday use.
Homeowners should consider how frequently they open their windows, the importance of an unobstructed view, natural ventilation, the window operating style, and whether they prefer a traditional removable screen or a retractable solution.
Valdicass can review the available screen options alongside your window series, glass, grilles, hardware, and other features so you can make these decisions before ordering the windows.
