Pella Windows & Patio Doors in Chicago & Chicagoland
Valdicass specializes in professionally installing Pella® windows and patio doors throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Family-owned and serving Chicagoland since 1997, we combine premium Pella products with experienced installation, careful attention to detail, and respect for your home from consultation through completion.
As a Pella Platinum Elite Certified Contractor, Valdicass helps homeowners compare Pella products, installation methods, glass packages, finishes, hardware, and design options for their homes. From straightforward replacement projects to custom full-frame installations and architecturally detailed properties, we consider both the product and the conditions of the existing opening when planning the project.
Why Choose Valdicass for Your Pella Project?
Choosing the right window or door is only part of a successful replacement project. Proper measurements, installation method, flashing, insulation, exterior finishing, interior trim, and attention to the existing construction can make a significant difference in the final result.
Valdicass brings decades of Chicagoland remodeling experience to every Pella installation. Our team evaluates each opening and helps determine whether a pocket replacement, full-frame replacement, or a more customized installation approach is right for your home.
We also take the protection of your home seriously. We carefully protect floors, furniture, and surrounding work areas during installation, and our team keeps the project organized and clean from start to finish.
Pella Windows for Every Style of Home
Whether you’re replacing windows in a historic Chicagoland home, updating a traditional residence, or creating a more contemporary design, Pella offers product lines for a wide range of architectural styles, performance requirements, and budgets.
Valdicass will help you compare the options based on your home’s construction and your priorities—not simply choose a window from a catalog.

Pella Lifestyle Series – Wood Windows for Everyday Luxury
Pella Lifestyle Series combines the warmth and beauty of wood with modern performance and design flexibility. It is an excellent choice for many Chicagoland window replacement projects where homeowners want a premium wood interior, durable exterior protection, and a wide range of glass, grille, hardware, and finish options.
Lifestyle Series also offers select integrated options such as between-the-glass blinds or shades, allowing for a clean appearance without exposed cords or traditional window treatments.
Pella Impervia® – Fiberglass Windows
Pella Impervia uses fiberglass construction and offers clean profiles with relatively low-maintenance interiors and exteriors. It provides an alternative for homeowners who prefer fiberglass rather than traditional wood or vinyl window construction.
Depending on the selected configuration, Impervia is available in different window styles, colors, glass packages, grilles, screens, and hardware options.
Pella® 250 Series – Vinyl Windows
Pella 250 Series provides the low-maintenance benefits of vinyl while offering numerous style, glass, grille, and design options. It can be a practical choice for homeowners looking for Pella vinyl construction with available energy-performance options at a different investment level than premium wood products.
Pocket Replacement or Full-Frame Installation?
The right Pella window is only part of the decision. How the window is installed matters just as much.
A pocket replacement may allow the existing frame and interior trim to remain when those components are in suitable condition. A full-frame replacement removes more of the existing window assembly, providing greater access to the underlying opening and surrounding conditions.
Valdicass evaluates the condition and construction of each opening before recommending an installation approach. For projects involving deteriorated components, significant exterior changes, new interior trim, structural modifications, or architectural considerations, full-frame replacement may be appropriate.
