Virtual Home Improvement Consultation
Start planning your window, door, or exterior remodeling project from the comfort of your home.
Valdicass offers virtual consultations for homeowners throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, making it easy to have an initial conversation with our team, show us your home, discuss your goals, and explore potential product and design options.
Whether you’re considering Pella® replacement windows, Pella patio doors, ProVia® entry doors, James Hardie® siding, or another exterior improvement, a virtual consultation can be a convenient way to get started.
How Our Virtual Consultation Works
1. Schedule Your Consultation
Choose a convenient time to speak with a Valdicass representative.
We’ll confirm the appointment and determine the best way to connect with you by phone or video.
2. Show Us Your Project
During the consultation, tell us what you would like to change and show us the areas of your home involved in the project.
Photos, videos, approximate measurements, or other information about the existing conditions can also help us better understand the scope.
Don’t worry if you don’t have everything prepared. We’ll let you know what additional information would be helpful.
3. Explore Products & Options
Once we understand what you’re considering, we can discuss applicable products, materials, styles, colors, configurations, and installation options.
Depending on your project, that might include:
- Pella replacement windows
- Pella patio doors
- ProVia entry doors
- James Hardie siding
- Soffit and fascia
- Porticos and entry improvements
- Larger exterior remodeling projects
We can also discuss the differences between available options and help narrow the choices before an in-person appointment.
4. Review the Next Steps
Some projects can be evaluated substantially through photos, measurements, and video. Others require an on-site visit before we can finalize the scope, measurements, installation requirements, or pricing.
If an in-person visit is necessary, we’ll explain what needs to be evaluated and schedule the next step.
This helps make the process more efficient while still ensuring that important project details are verified before products are ordered or work begins.
What Should You Have Ready?
You don’t need professional drawings or exact measurements to have an initial conversation with us.
If possible, it can be helpful to have:
- Photos of the area you’d like to improve
- Approximate number of windows or doors
- Photos showing both the interior and exterior
- Any known dimensions
- Examples of styles or colors you like
- Questions about products or installation
- A general idea of what you’d like to accomplish
For siding or larger exterior projects, wider photos showing the elevations of the home can be especially helpful.
